Three filigreed plant-form arches step lightly across the lake. Their reflections create the illusion of a single undulating form that has emerged from the water. The arc is connected to our subconscious. Regenerating life was represented in the Minoan era, by a series of arcs carved in stone, surrounded by water. Historically, the iconic and repetitive arch was used in the creation of aqueducts, bridges and viaducts. |
